Maz NZ and Oz

We arrived in Cairns on Friday evening the 4th of August, and after two nights at the Bohemia 'Resort' (where we could be trusted not to make off with the ironing board and iron in the room - but still had to pay a $20 deposit on each set of crockery we wanted to use) we were very glad to move to the Discovery Resort, a newly opened Motel where we paid the same price for accommodation but got waaay more for our money. We left Bohemia early on Sunday morning and dropped our gear at Discovery before heading off on the Kuranda Rail trip.
