Winter eh?
I went to the beach today to have a look around. Thoses kiwis had me fooled you know, I thought they meant it when they said it was winter over here. But today, in August (our equivalent of Feb/Mar) the sun was shining, the temperature was19-20 degrees and I was too warm in my jeans (yet in the interest of decency I kept them on). Madness! Starting to worry if I might actually melt in summer at this rate! Unfortunately, my camera decided it didn't want to work today (I put manners on it when I got home), so I've no photos. But it was really nice and I'll be there again, so there'll be pictures posted here. I promise :)

Delighted to see and read that you are doing really well! Congratulations on the job - you are definitely on a roll! Your pictures of California are fantastic and those of San Francisco make me homesick for that city. It's the only city I ever have visited that I'd live in tomorrow without hesitation. The weather here is overcast as usual but dry T.G. - a good Summer day for us. Keep on posting the photos and I'll keep on dreaming of far flung places!!
